| First to go on growing in Aberdeen |
Lewis Macdonald has welcomed the continuing commitment of worldwide transport operator FirstGroup to continue its growth from a Global Headquarters in Aberdeen.
First has now withdrawn its application for a new corporate Headquarters and bus depot in Woodside. The company now aims to redevelop the existing bus depot on King Street. Lewis Macdonald said: 'First's commitment to the North East is very welcome. It is good for Scotland to have world class companies based here, and I am sure a stable base in Aberdeen will allow to continue to go from strength to strength'.
The Transport giant, FirstGroup, recently announced it was withdrawing its application for a new Headquarters and bus depot in Woodside. The company now aims to redevelop the existing depot on King Street and still has plans to make it their Worldwide corporate Headquarters.
