| Wendy Alexander Announces Shadow Cabinet |
Wendy Alexander has today announced
Scottish the shadow cabinet.
Wendy Alexander said: 'With this new shadow cabinet of all the
talents, this will be an effective and dedicated opposition.
'The make up of the new team reflects the breadth of
experience in our ranks at Holyrood.
'Make no mistake this team will hold the minority
administration to account and simultaneously reflect the real
priorities of the people of Scotland.
'We will of course work with the new government and other
parties where we believe they are working in the best interests
of Scotland.
'But we will not let the Executive fail the Scottish people by
ducking the real responsibilities of government.
'I am also very grateful to those who have served in
government but who are moving on to new challenges.'
