| Macdonald congratulates church's fundraising efforts |
Aberdeen Labour MSP Lewis Macdonald today congratulated the fundraising efforts of St George’s Church in Tillydrone, Aberdeen for their hard work in supporting a community in Uganda.
Lewis Macdonald will attend at St George's Church as a shipment of items is loaded into a container in preparation for being shipped to Bazallel, Uganda.
The container, which includes toys, clothing and basic supplies for the people of Bazallel, will be shipped from Aberdeen today.
Lewis Macdonald said:
`I am delighted to support the fundraising and active support of St George’s Church and the wider community of Tillydrone for the people in Bazallel.
`The church congregation, and wider Tillydrone community, have worked very hard to gather the items that are within the shipment and I hope they continue to enjoy the same success.`
